Nut & Bolt Restoration. EFI V8, AOD Automatic, AC, PS, 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes
This 1968 Bronco underwent a full nut and bolt/frame-off restoration completed in 2023, with only approximately 200 test miles since completion. It sports a fresh coat of Rangoon Red with a Wimbledon White Half-Cab. Powered by a rebuilt 289 cubic inch V8, fed by a Holley Sniper EFI (electronic fuel injection) setup. It is shifted by a rebuilt Automatic Over-Drive Automatic Transmission and breathes through a custom dual exhaust setup. It is stopped by 4 Wheel Power Disc Brakes, and steering is a done with the added Power Steering setup through a billet tilt-column. Air Conditioning was also added during the restoration. The truck began life as a U15 V8, but has been converted to the half-cab/pickup setup with added roll bar painted to match the body and rhino-lined rear bed. It rides on 15" US Mag wheel with new Hankook tires (including the swing-away spare). The interior features upgraded high back bucket seats in parchment with matching door panels. The entire cab was also covered in Dynamat for improved cooling and noise reduction under the black carpeting. All suspension components were either replaced for refurbished, upgrades include Bilstein shocks and HD coil springs. Original glove box tag that matches VIN stamping on frame, clear title. This is an extremely well-built Bronco, ready to be enjoyed!
